
his little Tmsuk T-34 (no relation, unfortunately) security robot, jointly developed by a Japanese robotics company and a Japanese security firm, is designed to replace human security guards in corporate environments. It’s basically a little remote controlled car, controllable through a video camera via a cellphone. The T-34 is equipped with microphones and body heat sensors and can zip along at 10 kph, and if it finds a perp doing something naughty, it can fire a net at them. And then, it can… Um… Hm.
